Gloria and Erik’s wedding at Bastyr Chapel in Kenmore, WA was a very unique and special day.

They got ready at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, WA and the view from their windows was absolutely stunning. It overlooked Lake Washington and with the weather we had that day, we got some amazing footage! Gloria looked so beautiful, poised, calm, and just ready for the day. There did not seem to be any nerves in her but just this radiant peace. Erik, by far, had one of the most extravagant and amazing suits we have seen. It was a custom Dolce and Gabbana suit made out of this baroque patterned fabric. On others, it might have been too much or too different, but Erik had such confidence and swagger that it just made sense. He did not allow the suit to wear him but he wore the suit.

For their creative session, we took them to downtown Seattle onto a rooftop structure. The footage we got was some of the most cinematic and editorial content we have shot. Everything just seemed to work together perfectly: the skyscrapers, the luxury cars, his suit, and her dress. We felt like we were shooting an action movie or something; so memorable.

Their ceremony was at Bastyr University’s chapel on campus and it was amazing. Some indoor ceremonies do not always yield the best quality of footage but Bastyr knew what they were doing when they built it because the lighting was so good. Gloria and Erik didn’t need much as far as the decor was concerned because of how beautiful the interior was. The ceilings were so vaulted that everything would have paled in comparison.

After their ceremony at Bastyr Chapel, everyone headed back to the Hyatt in Bellevue for the reception. This reception was insane: the floral arrangements, the lighting effects, the cake, and THE dessert bar of all dessert bars. As with everything else from this wedding, everything just worked so well with each other. It may not have been for other couples but Gloria and Erik just knew how to pull it off.
