Josie & Solomon // Happy Valley, OR

Josie and Solomon’s wedding at The Aerie at Eagle Landing was so special and sweet.

Throughout the day there was so much love in the air at this wedding. Between the way that Josie and Solomon treated each other and the way the families treated each other, there was just so much love and respect. All Josie and Solomon wanted to do was mak

Natasha & Dima // West Linn, OR

Natasha & Dima // West Linn, OR

Natasha and Dima’s wedding in West Linn, OR was a joy to capture and film. We could easily say that about each and every couple we have to honor of filming but it’s nonetheless true. Each couple brings their own uniquely distinct style and vibe to the day and Natasha and Dima were no different. They brought such a youthful yet sincere love to the day in a way we hadn’t seen before.

Semida & Tony // Portland, OR

Semida & Tony // Portland, OR

We loved filming Semida and Tony’s wedding at Philadelphia Romanian Church in Portland, OR.

Semida and Tony are one of those couples that might seem like opposites but in actuality, they are two sides of the same coin. As we listened to them talk about each other that morning and watched them interact with each other throughout the day, we could really see the love between them. Their love is so beautiful, rich, and authentic.

Tina & Artem // Fairview, OR

Tina & Artem // Fairview, OR

Filming Tina and Artem’s wedding at Ukrainian Bible Church in Fairview, OR was such a special day for us. Tina is Dan’s (our second shooter) sister. So we knew that we wanted to crush it extra hard for them.

One thing that Tina and Artem did so well that day was take in every second. In particular, there was this moment in the morning where Tina pulled out a photo book, sat in a chair, and just reminisced on their journey. Nothing else mattered in that moment, just that book and her memories. It is always so important to take time and slow down on a day that can be chaotic.

Sula & Bogdan // Portland, OR

Sula & Bogdan // Portland, OR

Sula and Bogdan’s wedding, especially their first looks and creative session at Monet Vineyards, was out of this world!

That day, the wildfires were so bad that the “fog” at the vineyard was actually smoke haze. We were a little nervous to be out there because of the weather but the footage turned out amazing. It was by far our favorite part of the day. The Italian architectural design of Monet Vineyards looked so whimsical and romantic with that “foggy” background. In addition, they brought a vintage pale yellow Mercedes that just completed the look.

Anna & Roman // Portland, OR

Anna & Roman // Portland, OR

Anna and Roman have one of those love stories that give us hope that true love still exists in the world. They had been family friends since they were kids. Roman always knew that he was going to marry her one day and patiently waited until she realized he was the one for her. Their families shared so many memories that day, we saw just how tight-knit these families were.

Irina & Eric // Oregon City, OR

Irina & Eric // Oregon City, OR

Irina and Eric’s wedding at Villa Catalana Cellars in Oregon City, OR was one of the most heartfelt and touching weddings we have had the honor of filming. Their story is all about love, determination, and persistence. From the moment he met her, Eric knew that Irina was the one. While she may not have always felt the same, once she gave him a chance, she knew she had found someone special.

Joan & Byungseok // McMinnville, OR

Joan & Byungseok // McMinnville, OR

Filming Joan and Byungseok’s wedding at Maysara Winery and Momtazi Vineyard in McMinnville, OR was such a special and unique experience.

Both hailing from South Korea, we had the chance to experience some South Korean wedding traditions and customs. The mother and father of the bride and the mother of the groom wore a traditional hanbok-the national dress/outfit of Korea. In addition, both of the mothers walked together down the aisle, hand in hand, and when they got to the front, they lit two candles representing the beginning of the ceremony but also the union. At the end of the ceremony, Joan and Byungseok lit the last candle closing the ceremony but also uniting the two families. We love how they took elements of traditional South Korean weddings but also made it modern: respecting and paying homage to their heritage but also celebrating the here and now.
