Zhanna and Eugene’s wedding in West Linn, OR was filled with such sincerity, joy, and sweet-spirited love.

There is something about a bright, sunny morning that lets you know, it’s going to be a good day. Everyone including Zhanna and her bridesmaids was feeling the delight that good weather in the Pacific Northwest can bring. It seemed like she didn’t have a care in the world except to sing, laugh, and have a good time with her girls.

We are so glad they chose Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR for their first look and creative session because of its fresh and light airiness. He was so in awe of her, that during the first look, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. Needing to see every angle, he circled her, jaw dropped. He just couldn’t believe that she was going to marry him. They then exchanged their vows, creating an intimate and tender moment before the whirlwind of the rest of the day. The cleanliness of their style worked so well with the college as neither pulled focus but blended together beautifully. The cleanliness and timelessness of their style blended so well with the stone and brick buildings that surrounded them. They brought a burnt orange Classic MGB Roadster, which Eugene actually repaired as a passion project. They looked like they were driving off into the sunset even though the festivities had yet to begin!

Their ceremony and reception were outside at a beautiful private estate in West Linn, OR. It was so serene as the alter overlooked the point where the lush, green mountaintops met the bright, blue sky. Between that and the simple decor, the fresh, airy feel of the day carried on. After the ceremony as Zhanna and Eugene walked back down the aisle, they looked so ecstatic to finally be married. There was so much elation and bliss wrapped up in one moment. The speeches during the reception were so sweet and moving. Everyone just wanted to celebrate the couple and it really showed.
