We loved filming Semida and Tony’s wedding at Philadelphia Romanian Church in Portland, OR.

Semida and Tony are one of those couples that might seem like opposites but in actuality, they are two sides of the same coin. As we listened to them talk about each other that morning and watched them interact with each other throughout the day, we could really see the love between them. Their love is so beautiful, rich, and authentic.

They both got ready and had their first look at Hi-Lo Hotel in downtown Portland and wow, we love that place! There were these massive arched windows that offered fantastic lighting for everything. We love playing with windows and reflecting light so her room was a dream! The dramatic, direct lighting made her eyes so piercingly beautiful while the soft, indirect light, gave her a glowing halo.

The moment he turned around during their first look, he couldn’t stop smiling. He had found his person and from that moment on, he wouldn’t have to let her go again. He was so enamored by her that he couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

We went to Monet Vineyards for their creative session and their footage turned out absolutely stunning. Monet Vineyards is one of our favorite spots to do creative sessions as it always makes our couples look like movie stars! Semida and Tony looked like wedding royalty during their session and could have stayed there all day.

They went with an all-white theme for their ceremony and reception at Philadelphia Romanian Church in Portland. Everything looked so beautiful and elegant and fit in with their vibe for the day. Their vows during the ceremony and speeches and performances at the reception were so heartfelt and touching. We snuck them out for a sunset session along the river bank during the reception, and they looked stunning! We love that he did a fist pump when he kissed her, so sweet.

It was an absolute pleasure to film their wedding. We hope their short film shows just how magical their day was!
