Filming Vika and Tim’s wedding at Black Oak Mountain Vineyards in Cool, CA was such a fun time. It was one of those days that flew by in the blink of an eye.
We love getting to watch couples interact with each other and see their dynamics: Vika and Tim were no exception. As opposite as they could be at times, they really were just two sides of the same coin. They pushed and brought out the best in each other and encouraged the other to step out of their comfort zones.
From start to finish, their whole wedding day took place at Black Oak Mountain Vineyards. An all-inclusive venue like this one always helps eliminate some stress the day of. Vika and Tim got ready in these modern industrial-chic rooms with lots of natural wood accents that looked out toward the vineyard.
There is something about an outdoor wedding that adds so much joy to a wedding. Whether it’s the fresh air, cool breeze, or an extra bit of sunshine, we have seen it help people relax and enjoy the day a bit more. Their ceremony was beside this massive tree with the vineyard as their backdrop. To keep with the natural vibes of the vineyard, they chose a wooden circle arch accented with white, cream, burnt orange, and green floral arrangement. Green garland and candles lined the aisle which added such a romantic feel.
We could really see how much Vika and Tim love each other during the creative session and the reception. There were so many candid moments of him brushing her hair out of her face or her just smiling so contently at him. We love to capture those moments because of their authenticity and genuineness.
Vika and Tim’s wedding was filled with so much joy, love, and excitement from them and from their friends and families. Everyone was so happy to partake in this union and it made our jobs so easy and fun. We are so appreciative of Vika and Tim for allowing us to capture their day for them!
