Where do we even begin with Margo and Artem’s wedding on the Columbia River in Portland, OR? They are some of the most fun, loving, “let the good times roll” people we know. We’ve actually been friends with them for years so watching their relationship begin and grow into a marriage was really special.
The morning felt so fresh and airy. So much soft, natural lighting that Margo looked stunning from every angle. She was so photogenic, she didn’t need much direction. We were able to just sit back, let the camera roll, and let her do her thing.
Their ceremony and reception were at a private estate that Artem just found online. He walked up, knocked on the front door, met the owner, and asked if he could have his wedding there. We’re so glad he asked because that view of the Columbia was absolutely perfect. Ivy & Sage Floral absolutely crushed it with the arrangements and bouquets at this wedding. The bright pinks, oranges, and blues complimented the scenery perfectly, giving off the right amount of garden feels. And the vines that ran across the top of their clear-top reception tent were the cherry on top.
Margo and Artem are anything but ordinary and we love that about them. From her wedding dress, to his sneakers post-ceremony, to how they even got their venue, everything was perfectly and uniquely them.
During the ceremony, we snuck them out for a bit to do a sunset creative session and those are probably our favorite of the whole day. That vintage Mercedes was just the perfect touch to round out the vibe of that day. We really felt their love for each other during that session when it was just the two of them. They looked so content and happy, just the two of them.
