One word we’d use to describe Camille and Arthur’s wedding at the Academy Chapel in Vancouver, WA is pure. The love that Camille and Arthur have for each other is one of the purest loves and was carried into every aspect of their wedding.

The morning of the wedding, Camille got ready at her brother’s amazing, modern house in Portland, OR, and waiting for us were all these little details that she saved from her and Arthur’s relationship. From stamps to seals and letters from their time doing long distance, she saved them all. It just went to show the kind of love and affection they have for each other.

Camille and Arthur were so comfortable with each other and oftentimes got lost in their own little world, allowing us to just let the camera roll. It also helps that they are so naturally striking, they could be models.

They wanted to do their portrait session at the historic Lewis and Clark College and wow, we are so grateful that they chose that spot. The moss-covered stone walls, brick buildings, and infamous reflective pool made us feel like we were in a storybook. There is something so mesmerizing and captivating about a reflective pool and the shots we were able to get from it were out of this world.

After their ceremony at Academy Chapel, they went to a private estate in Vancouver, WA for their outdoor tented reception. This big, beautiful white top tent had so much soft natural lighting that made capturing each detail a breeze. Camille and Arthur went with these really neat metal chandeliers that they covered in eucalyptus and other greens. All of their floral arrangements were absolutely stunning. So full and voluminous, it felt like we were in a garden. We also love that they chose to go with natural brown farmhouse tables and wooden french crossback chairs. This little bit of shabby chic was the perfect touch to fill out their garden vibes. They ended the night with a sparkler send off which seemed like the perfect way to celebrate their love and new marriage.
