Wedding Videography in Visalia

Visalia is California's Central Valley at its most refined — a prosperous agricultural city with a genuine civic elegance, tree-lined streets, and a wedding culture rooted in community, heritage, and the close proximity of some of the most awe-inspiring natural landscapes on earth. Just 45 minutes east, the giant sequoias of Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon create a wedding backdrop of almost incomprehensible scale.

Three Rivers, the small community at the park's western gateway, has developed a cluster of intimate event venues that put couples within reach of the world's largest trees. The Kaweah River winds through the foothills below the park, offering riverside ceremony sites framed by boulders, oaks, and the distant Sierra Nevada.

Film House Weddings brings the same cinematic precision to Central Valley weddings that we apply to every setting. Whether capturing the golden light falling across a vineyard estate south of Visalia or filming elopement portraits among the ancient sequoias, we create wedding films that honor the genuine beauty of this often-overlooked California region.

Why Choose Film House Weddings

Film House Weddings is a luxury wedding cinematography studio founded by Dennis Mulyar, a first-generation Ukrainian American filmmaker with a Bachelor's degree in Film and 15 years of experience across entertainment, beauty, and traditional film festivals. The studio has worked with clients including companies like Nike, Adidas, Snapchat, Paramount+, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Augustinus Bader. Featured in BRIDES magazine and Washington Wedding Day.

Based in Visalia, our team has filmed hundreds of weddings at venues across the country and beyond. We are not a one-person operation. Film House Weddings is a team of dedicated filmmakers who share the same obsession with cinematic craft, candid emotion, and timeless storytelling. Dennis leads the creative vision while his team executes on the ground. The result is a cinematic experience built for couples who understand that their wedding film is not just for them. It is for future generations.

Every detail of our process exists to serve couples who refuse to take a chance when it comes to preserving their most important moments. We work directly with your planner and photographer to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed. Our team arrives early, stays late, and disappears into your day so you can live every moment fully.

Visalia Wedding Tips

Sequoia Elopement Add-On

Many Visalia couples add a Sequoia National Park portrait session to their wedding weekend. Giant Forest grove permits are required — plan through the NPS at least 6 months out.

Summer Heat

Visalia summers regularly exceed 100 degrees F. For outdoor ceremonies, choose early morning, late evening, or plan a fully shaded tent event. Fall and spring are ideal.

Tule Fog Season

December through February brings Central Valley tule fog — dense and unpredictable. If you are planning a winter wedding, build extra time buffers for photography and videography.

Agricultural Magic

Orange and citrus groves bloom in late winter and early spring, creating extraordinary fragrance and blossom backdrops. Ask your planner about grove access for portraits.

Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.

Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?

Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters.
