Information you give us. When you inquire about our services, sign up for one of our free guides, or contact us, we may collect:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number
• Wedding details: your wedding date or timeframe, venue or city, and investment range
• Messages: anything you write to us through our inquiry forms, email, text, or social media

We collect this when you fill out a form on our website, submit a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) lead form, sign up for our email list, email or text us, or message us directly.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our partners may automatically collect information such as your device and browser type, IP address, pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and actions you take (like submitting a form). We collect this using cookies and similar tools from Google Analytics, HoneyBook, and Meta. See Cookies and advertising below.

We use your information to:

• Respond to your inquiry and check date availability
• Communicate with you by email, phone, or text message about our services and your wedding
• Send you the guides you request and, if you have subscribed, occasional emails from us
• Understand how people use our website so we can improve it
• Measure and improve our advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and show our ads to people who may be interested in them

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, or email us at hello@filmhouseweddings.com and we will remove you.

We share your information only when necessary:

• With service providers who help us run our business, and only so they can do that work for us. These include HoneyBook (inquiry forms and client management), Google (email and website analytics), and Kit (our email list).
• With Meta, when you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, and through the Meta Pixel on our website, as described below.
• If required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Our digital products for filmmakers are sold through Gumroad. Gumroad handles those purchases and payments under its own privacy policy.

Footage, photos, and films we create at your wedding are covered by your services agreement with us, not by this policy.

We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and keep our business records. If you ask us to delete it, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@filmhouseweddings.com.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request that we correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or “sharing” of your personal information. We do not sell your information. Our use of the Meta Pixel for advertising may count as “sharing” under California law. To opt out, email us at hello@filmhouseweddings.com or use the cookie and ad controls above. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed here. By contacting us, you understand your information will be handled in the United States.

Our services are for adults planning weddings. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
