Wedding Videography at The Richland
The Richland occupies a historic building on Maple Avenue in the heart of Old Towne Orange, recently restored into a wedding venue and boutique hotel. Old Towne Orange is one of the largest National Register historic districts in California, and the surrounding blocks give a wedding film an entire neighborhood of usable backdrop within a two-minute walk of the venue door: early twentieth-century brick storefronts, the traffic circle and plaza, and mature street trees.
The Estelle Ballroom is the primary event space, seating up to 170 guests with a dance floor, up to 200 seated without one, and 225 for a cocktail-style reception. The room's restoration favors clean lines and warm materials over ornament, which makes it unusually adaptable on camera: it takes on the color of whatever lighting design a couple brings rather than imposing a palette of its own. Catering, bar, staffing, and rentals run through 24 Carrots.
Having hotel rooms on site changes the shape of the filming day in a way that matters more than couples expect. Getting-ready coverage happens in the same building as the ceremony, which removes a travel gap from the morning schedule and typically buys back thirty to forty-five minutes for portraits. Film House Weddings is based in Orange County and would be honored to film your wedding at The Richland.

Does Film House Weddings film weddings at The Richland?
Film House Weddings would be honored to film your wedding at The Richland. We are based in Orange County and film throughout Old Towne Orange and the surrounding area regularly.
What makes The Richland special for wedding film?
The Richland sits inside Old Towne Orange, one of California's largest National Register historic districts, so brick storefronts, the plaza, and tree-lined streets are all available for portrait coverage within a short walk. On-site hotel rooms mean getting-ready and ceremony happen in one building, which removes travel from the schedule and usually returns thirty to forty-five minutes to portraits.
Where is The Richland located?
The Richland is located on Maple Avenue in Old Towne Orange, California, steps from the Orange Plaza traffic circle and about 15 minutes from Anaheim.
How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost at The Richland?
Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend 9 to 18 months for peak season (May through October).
What is included in a wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
Do you offer drone videography?
Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on, coordinated with local airspace rules and any venue restrictions.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner. Let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it, since our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter?
Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
