Split Creek Ranch
Jackson Hole, WY
Wedding Videography at Split Creek Ranch
Split Creek Ranch sits along the Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with unobstructed sightlines to the Grand Teton Range from the ranch grounds. The property functions as a private, buyout-only estate with cabin and lodge accommodations, and its event barn, a 4,000-square-foot structure with glass sliding doors that open the interior to the surrounding land, hosts wedding receptions for up to 200 guests. A cocktail bar, dropdown screen, twin fireplaces, and indoor-outdoor kitchens give the barn a lived-in, lodge feel rather than a rented-hall one. Ceremony and reception both happen on ranch acreage within view of the Tetons, which means the mountains are present in some form through nearly every hour of the day.
For a wedding film, Jackson Hole's light is the real draw. The Tetons run nearly north-south, which puts them in strong sidelight through most of the afternoon and gives ceremony coverage a sculpted, dimensional quality that flatter mountain ranges do not produce. The barn's glass doors mean interior reception footage can carry the exterior view rather than being sealed off from it, so wide shots of the room still register the ranch's setting behind the couple. River frontage nearby offers a quieter, more intimate portrait location away from the main event footprint, useful for first-look or golden hour coverage that benefits from moving water and cottonwood cover.
Jackson Hole sits above 6,000 feet, and weather here turns quickly: afternoon thunderstorms build over the Tetons in summer, and a sunny morning can become an overcast evening within a few hours, so a flexible shot list matters more here than at a lower-elevation venue. Fall brings cottonwoods turning gold along the river and noticeably crisper light, while winter access and low sun angles change the entire visual character of the property. Split Creek Ranch pairs a 4,000-square-foot event barn with glass sliding doors against direct Teton views, so reception coverage keeps the mountains in frame even indoors. How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost at Split Creek Ranch?
Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend 9 to 18 months for peak season (May through October).
What is included in a wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
Do you offer drone videography?
Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on, coordinated with local airspace rules and any venue restrictions.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner. Let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it, since our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter?
Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
