Luce Loft occupies the historic 1928 Carnation Dairy Building in San Diego's East Village, blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter, and holds up to 150 guests. It is a blank-canvas industrial space, with exposed brick, high ceilings, tall arched windows, and an open floor plan with a built-in stage and bar. That emptiness is the point. A loft venue puts the design entirely in the couple's hands, which means no two weddings filmed here look remotely alike.
The arched windows are the property's real asset for cinematography. They run tall enough to throw deep, directional daylight well into the room through the afternoon, and the brick catches that light with a warmth that flat drywall never does. Later in the evening the included market lighting takes over, and the combination of exposed brick and warm strung bulbs produces reception footage with genuine atmosphere straight out of camera. A built-in stage gives speeches and first dances a natural focal point and a clean sightline for a second camera.
Downtown itself extends the venue. East Village and the Gaslamp are dense with brick alleys, murals, and street texture, so portrait coverage can leave the building and return within fifteen minutes with a completely different look. We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
Do you offer drone videography?
Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on, coordinated with local airspace rules and any venue restrictions.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner. Let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it, since our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter?
Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
