Greystone Mansion, formally Greystone Mansion and Gardens: The Doheny Estate, was designed by Gordon Kaufmann and completed in 1928 for the Doheny family. The City of Beverly Hills purchased the property in 1965 and operates it today as a public park and rental venue at 905 Loma Vista Drive. The Tudor Revival house sits on sixteen acres of terraced formal gardens. City rental policy allows up to 150 guests for a seated dinner and up to 250 for a ceremony held in the Formal Garden.
English Tudor architecture at this scale is genuinely rare in Los Angeles, and the property has been a fixture of film and television production for decades for exactly that reason. Stone facades, leaded windows, and steep gables give the camera hard geometry to work against, while the Formal Garden's clipped hedges, long axial paths, and fountains provide symmetry that reads beautifully in a wide static frame. The terraces step down from the house, so an elevated camera position can hold both the couple and the garden's full depth in one shot.
Because the estate is city owned, filming runs through Beverly Hills procedures rather than a private venue's in house policy, and permits apply to posed sessions on non event days. Exterior events end at 9pm, so an outdoor reception has to be built around that cutoff and sunset coverage planned tightly. How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner. Let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it, since our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter?
Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
