Wedding Videography at Fullerton Arboretum
Fullerton Arboretum sits on the campus of Cal State Fullerton and functions as a working botanical garden with six named venues available for weddings: the Wisteria Covered Arbor, seating up to 150; the Orchard Lawn, which scales from 150 to 350 guests across its open seasonal plantings; the more intimate Rose Garden, holding up to 50; South Pond, seating 25 to 150 near the historic Heritage House and a bamboo forest; and the Bacon Pavilion Patio, which holds up to 250. Ceremonies and receptions run from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the exception of the Wisteria Arbor, which must be used before 2 p.m.
What makes the Arboretum distinctive for wedding cinematography is the sheer variety packed into one property: still water at South Pond for reflection shots, a bamboo grove for a more textured, layered background, open lawn for wide coverage, and a wisteria-covered arbor for a softer, filtered-light ceremony frame. Few Orange County venues offer this many genuinely different backdrops within a short walk of each other, which gives an editor real material to build a varied wedding film without leaving the property.
Because the Arboretum sits inland in Fullerton, it runs warmer and clearer than coastal Orange County venues, with minimal marine layer to burn off in the morning. The Wisteria Arbor's early cutoff time is worth planning a ceremony schedule around if that space is the goal. Film House Weddings films throughout Orange County and would be honored to film your wedding at Fullerton Arboretum.
