Wedding Videography at Empire Polo Club
Empire Polo Club occupies roughly 1,000 acres in Indio, in the Coachella Valley, and is operated year-round by Goldenvoice, the promoter behind the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals held on these same grounds each spring. Outside of festival season, the property functions as a private event venue with several distinct areas available for weddings, from the manicured three-acre Rose Garden, planted with roughly 8,000 rose bushes and centered on Victorian gazebos and a 5,000-square-foot indoor pavilion, to open polo fields that can accommodate very large receptions. Wedding bookings generally run from October through May, avoiding the extreme summer desert heat and the weeks the grounds are given over to festival production.
For wedding cinematography, Empire Polo Club offers a scale that few Southern California venues can match. Wide, unobstructed polo fields let a camera pull back far enough to show the full geography of a wedding day, mountains ringing the valley in the distance, while the Rose Garden's dense plantings and fountains give closer coverage a more traditional, romantic texture within the same property. The contrast between the two settings, formal garden versus open desert field, gives an editor real range to work with across a single day of footage.
Indio's desert climate means dry heat in the day and a marked drop in temperature after sunset, so evening ceremonies and receptions film beautifully under clear desert sky with minimal humidity haze. Golden hour here tends to run long and warm, especially with the Santa Rosa Mountains catching late light to the south. Film House Weddings films throughout Southern California and would be honored to bring that experience to a wedding at Empire Polo Club.

What makes Empire Polo Club special for wedding film?
Empire Polo Club pairs a formal three-acre Rose Garden, with roughly 8,000 rose bushes and Victorian gazebos, against open polo fields that stretch toward the Santa Rosa Mountains. That range, from intimate garden coverage to wide desert-scale shots, gives wedding film real visual variety within one property, and clear desert evenings make for long, warm golden hour light.
Where is Empire Polo Club located?
Empire Polo Club is in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in Riverside County. Weddings are typically booked from October through May.
How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost at Empire Polo Club?
Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend 9 to 18 months for peak season (May through October).
What is included in a wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
Do you offer drone videography?
Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on, coordinated with local airspace rules and any venue restrictions.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner. Let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it, since our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter?
Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
