Val d'Orcia is the landscape that defines Tuscany in the world's imagination — rolling golden hills, lone cypress trees, medieval hilltop villages, and a quality of light that has inspired painters and filmmakers for centuries. This UNESCO World Heritage valley stretches between Siena and the Umbrian border, offering the most visually dramatic wedding setting in all of Italy.
The valley's wedding season runs May through October, with harvest season in September and October being the most sought-after window. The light during these months turns the landscape into a living painting — amber wheat fields, purple lavender, and golden vineyards stretching to every horizon.
Film House Weddings has filmed throughout Tuscany and understands the extraordinary visual potential of this landscape. From cypress-lined ceremony backdrops to hilltop reception terraces overlooking the valley, Val d'Orcia delivers wedding cinematography that is unmatched anywhere in the world.

Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
