Wedding Videography in Long Beach

Long Beach is Southern California's most underrated wedding city — a place where the iconic Queen Mary towers over a working harbor, art deco architecture lines the waterfront, and the charming canals of Naples Island offer an Italian-inspired backdrop that feels worlds away from the freeways outside.

The city's diversity of settings is remarkable: yacht clubs on the water, rooftop venues with skyline views, the grand ballrooms of the Queen Mary, and the sun-drenched neighborhoods of Belmont Shore where brunch turns into evening receptions on open-air patios.

Film House Weddings brings the same cinematic precision to Long Beach that we bring to every Southern California coastal city. The interplay of ocean light, art deco detail, and waterfront atmosphere creates wedding films with a distinctive visual character.

Why Choose Film House Weddings

Film House Weddings is a luxury wedding cinematography studio founded by Dennis Mulyar, a first-generation Ukrainian American filmmaker with a Bachelor's degree in Film and 15 years of experience across entertainment, beauty, and traditional film festivals. The studio has worked with clients including companies like Nike, Adidas, Snapchat, Paramount+, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Augustinus Bader. Featured in BRIDES magazine and Washington Wedding Day.

Based in Long Beach, our team has filmed hundreds of weddings at venues across the country and beyond. We are not a one-person operation. Film House Weddings is a team of dedicated filmmakers who share the same obsession with cinematic craft, candid emotion, and timeless storytelling. Dennis leads the creative vision while his team executes on the ground. The result is a cinematic experience built for couples who understand that their wedding film is not just for them. It is for future generations.

Every detail of our process exists to serve couples who refuse to take a chance when it comes to preserving their most important moments. We work directly with your planner and photographer to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed. Our team arrives early, stays late, and disappears into your day so you can live every moment fully.

Long Beach Wedding Tips

Queen Mary Access

The Queen Mary offers multiple ceremony and reception spaces at different price points. The Salon and Grand Salon are the most iconic — book 12+ months ahead.

Naples Island

The gondola canals of Naples Island make for extraordinary portrait locations. Schedule time for a short gondola ride during your portrait session.

Harbor Light

Long Beach's harbor faces southwest — afternoon light on the water is exceptional. Plan outdoor portraits between 4 and 6 PM.

Weekend Traffic

The 405 and 710 can create significant delays on weekend evenings. Build guest travel time into your timeline and communicate clearly about parking options.

Long Beach Wedding Videography FAQ

How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost in Long Beach?

Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.

Do you film weddings in Long Beach?

Yes. Film House Weddings is based in Orange County, just minutes from Long Beach. We film throughout the city and the surrounding harbor area.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend 9 to 18 months for peak season (May through October). Queen Mary and waterfront venues fill quickly.

What is included in a wedding film package?

We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.

Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?

Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.

Which Long Beach venues have you filmed at?

We have filmed at venues throughout Long Beach and the harbor area. If your venue is new to us, we scout it in advance.

Do you offer drone videography?

Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on. Harbor and waterfront footage from above is stunning — we coordinate with local airspace rules.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.

Do you provide raw footage?

Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.

Will you provide a second shooter?

Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
