North Shore vs. South Shore Weather
Kauai's north shore (Princeville, Hanalei) receives significantly more rain than the south shore (Poipu). If outdoor ceremony weather reliability is a priority, Poipu is the safer choice — it receives the least rainfall on the island. If dramatic landscape is your priority, the north shore's mountain scenery and Hanalei Bay are worth the weather variability.
Na Pali Coast Permits and Timing
The Na Pali Coast is accessible only by boat, helicopter, or a strenuous hiking trail — no road access exists. If a Na Pali portrait session is part of your vision, arrange it through a permitted helicopter operator or boat charter well in advance. The light from a helicopter above the Na Pali sea cliffs at golden hour is extraordinary.

Yes. Film House Weddings travels to Kauai and all Hawaiian islands for luxury weddings. Hawaii is a destination travel market for us. Travel fees apply and will be included transparently in your proposal.

Do you offer drone and aerial wedding videography in Kauai?

How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter or videographer at our Kauai wedding?
Our standard Kauai package includes a two-person team — one cinematographer with each partner during getting ready, then full coverage for the ceremony, portraits, and reception. For larger resort celebrations or multi-location island days, additional shooters are available as an add-on confirmed during the proposal stage.
