Jackson Hole is one of the most breathtaking wedding destinations in North America. The Teton Range rises without foothills directly from the valley floor — a sheer, jagged wall of granite that creates a backdrop of almost implausible drama. Whether you are standing at the edge of a ranch meadow, beside the Snake River, or on a terrace overlooking Jenny Lake, the Grand Tetons define every frame. There is no other mountain range in the United States that photographs quite like this.
The wedding culture in Jackson Hole honors the landscape above all else. Exclusive dude ranches offer privacy, natural elegance, and a sense of place that no hotel can replicate. Teton Village sits at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and provides world-class resort amenities with the mountains as an ever-present backdrop. For couples who want to incorporate the national park itself, permitted ceremonies within Grand Teton offer a once-in-a-lifetime setting that feels genuinely sacred.
Film House Weddings travels to Jackson Hole and the greater Teton region for luxury weddings. The landscape demands a cinematic approach — wide, patient, and attuned to the light that shifts dramatically across the valley floor at different hours. We bring the same obsessive attention to craft and storytelling that has earned us 51 consecutive five-star Google reviews, and we know how to honor a place this extraordinary on film.

Jackson Hole Wedding Tips
National Park Permits
Weddings within Grand Teton National Park require a special use permit from the National Park Service. These are limited in number and location. Begin the permit application process at least 12 months before your wedding date and coordinate with a local planner who has experience with NPS logistics.
Wildlife and Weather Awareness
Jackson Hole is genuine wilderness. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer, and wildlife — including bison, elk, and bears — can affect outdoor ceremony logistics. Work with your venue and a local planner to establish clear contingency plans for both weather and wildlife encounters.
Golden Hour Alpenglow
The Tetons catch extraordinary alpenglow in the 20 to 30 minutes after sunset. Build portrait time into your timeline specifically to chase that light — the pink-and-gold peaks against a darkening sky are one of the most cinematic moments available anywhere in the American West.
Ranch Wedding Logistics
Many Jackson Hole ranches are remote and accessible only by private road. Guest transportation, shuttle coordination, and vendor access all require extra planning. Work with a local wedding planner who knows the logistics of each property so nothing is left to chance on your wedding day.

Jackson Hole Wedding Videography FAQ
How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost in Jackson Hole?
Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Jackson Hole weddings often involve remote ranch logistics, national park access, and significant travel — all of which we factor into every proposal. We do not publish flat pricing — reach out through our Connect page for a tailored quote.
Do you travel for weddings to Jackson Hole?
Yes. Film House Weddings is based in Orange County, California and Portland, Oregon. Jackson Hole and the Teton region are a regular travel destination for us. Travel fees apply for Wyoming and will be included transparently in your proposal.
How far in advance should we book our Jackson Hole wedding videographer?
We recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance. Jackson Hole's peak wedding season runs June through September, with July and August weekend dates at exclusive ranches booking the fastest. Grand Teton National Park permit availability is also limited — the earlier you start planning, the better.
What is included in a wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
Which Jackson Hole venues have you filmed at?
We are a preferred vendor partner at Lost Creek Ranch and have filmed at properties throughout the Teton Valley. If your venue is new to us, we scout ahead of your wedding day to understand light angles, timing, and the logistics specific to each ranch or resort property.
Do you offer drone and aerial wedding videography in Jackson Hole?
Yes. Drone coverage is an extraordinary addition to Jackson Hole weddings — the Grand Teton Range from above is unlike any other landscape. We coordinate all drone flights with your venue, Grand Teton National Park regulations if applicable, and local airspace requirements well in advance.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
Will you provide a second shooter or videographer at our Jackson Hole wedding?
Our standard Jackson Hole package includes a two-person team — one cinematographer with each partner during getting ready, then full coverage for the ceremony, portraits, and reception. For large ranch celebrations or multi-day destination events, additional shooters are available as an add-on confirmed during the proposal stage.
