Luxury Hudson Valley Wedding Videographer
Rolling estates and river light — cinematic wedding films in the Hudson Valley and Catskills.

The Hudson Valley is the most cinematic region in the Northeast. The light comes off the river in the morning and bathes the farmland in something that painters spent centuries trying to capture — the Hudson River School wasn't a movement of technique, it was a response to a place that genuinely demanded to be documented. We approach our weddings here the same way: with reverence for what the landscape is already doing, and a camera that knows how to get out of the way.
The Valley's wedding scene is defined by a specific aesthetic — farm-to-table culture, converted barns, estate gardens with mountain backdrops, and Catskills retreats that feel genuinely remote even when they are two hours from Manhattan. Couples who marry here tend to care deeply about beauty and authenticity, and those are the couples whose films move us most. The region rewards that sensibility at every turn.
We film throughout the Valley and into the Catskills — from Rhinebeck estates to Beacon waterfront venues to Woodstock ceremony sites that look like they belong in a Terrence Malick film. Autumn is extraordinary, but every season has its version of perfection here: spring wildflowers, summer swimming holes, and winter's stripped-bare landscape that makes the architecture sing.

Hudson Valley Wedding Tips
Book October dates two years out
Fall foliage season in the Hudson Valley is the most competitive booking period in the region. October Saturdays at top venues can fill up 18 to 24 months in advance. If a peak-foliage date matters to you, begin your vendor outreach as early as possible.
Scout the river for portrait opportunities
The Hudson River provides extraordinary portrait backdrops, particularly at sunset when the light goes horizontal across the water. If your venue is within reach of the riverbank, we build a portrait window into the schedule to take advantage of it.
Embrace the Catskills remoteness
Venues in the Catskills proper — Woodstock, Mount Tremper, Livingston Manor — offer an intimacy and visual wildness that more manicured Hudson Valley estates don't. If raw natural beauty matters more than formal elegance, look at venues deeper in the mountains.
Plan for rural logistics
The Hudson Valley is rural. Cell service can be inconsistent, vendor travel times are longer than GPS suggests on winding mountain roads, and some venues have limited power. We always do a pre-wedding logistics call with every vendor to make sure timing and access are fully coordinated.

Hudson Valley Wedding Videography FAQ
Do you film weddings in the Hudson Valley and Catskills?
Yes. We film throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills region, including Rhinebeck, Beacon, Hudson, Woodstock, New Paltz, Millbrook, Mount Tremper, and Livingston Manor. This is one of our most-requested regions and we know it well.
What is the best Hudson Valley venue for a cinematic film?
Mohonk Mountain House, Basilica Hudson, Foxfire Mountain House, and Liberty View Farm are among the most visually striking venues in the region. Wilderstein and Roundhouse at Beacon Falls are extraordinary for couples who want architectural character with natural surroundings.
Do you film Catskills weddings?
Yes. We love the Catskills for its untamed visual character — mountain light, old stone buildings, forest settings, and a genuine remoteness that makes for powerful film. Woodstock, Mount Tremper, Livingston Manor, and Narrowsburg are all within our coverage area.
What is included in a Hudson Valley wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with Hudson Valley wedding planners?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
When is the best time to get married in the Hudson Valley?
The Hudson Valley is beautiful in every season. October is peak foliage season and the most requested. June and September offer warm weather and consistent light. December and January are starkly beautiful and increasingly popular for couples who want dramatic, intimate winter films.
How far in advance should I book a Hudson Valley wedding videographer?
For peak fall season (October), we recommend booking 18 to 24 months out. Spring and summer dates have more flexibility but still book 9 to 12 months in advance for top weekend dates. Reach out early — our calendar fills seasonally.
Do you offer drone coverage in the Hudson Valley?
Yes. The Hudson Valley and Catskills are among the most drone-friendly regions we work in, and aerial coverage adds tremendous scope when filming mountain estates, river views, and vineyard settings. We coordinate airspace and venue approval as part of our pre-wedding process.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
