Do you travel worldwide for destination weddings?

Yes. Film House Weddings is available for destination weddings anywhere in the world. We have filmed in Italy, across the United States, and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Wherever your wedding takes you — whether Lake Como, Newport, Telluride, or beyond — we will be there. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our home markets of Orange County, California and Portland, Oregon.

How do destination wedding logistics work with your team?

We handle all travel coordination ourselves. Once you book, we work directly with you and your planner to align on the full wedding weekend timeline — arrival, venue walk-throughs, and coverage schedule. We recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance for international destinations and popular domestic locations to ensure availability and time for thorough planning.

What is included in a destination wedding film package?

We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. For destination weddings, we also discuss multi-day coverage options to capture welcome dinners, rehearsals, and the full scope of your celebration.

Do you work with destination wedding planners and photographers?

Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process, especially for destination weddings where timing is everything. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding to make sure everyone is in sync across time zones, venues, and cultural settings so no moment is missed.

Which destinations have you filmed at?

We have filmed weddings across multiple continents and throughout the United States — including Italy, the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountains, New England, the Southwest, and the Southeast. We do not limit ourselves to a venue list. If your destination moves you, we will be there.

Do you offer drone and aerial videography for destination weddings?

Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on for destination weddings. Drone usage is coordinated ahead of time with your venue and local regulations to ensure full compliance with airspace rules in each country or region.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.

Do you provide raw footage?

Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.

Will you bring a full team to our destination wedding?

Our standard destination package includes a two-person team. If you want additional shooters for a larger celebration or multi-day event, that is available as an add-on and confirmed during the proposal stage. We bring all of our own equipment to every destination.
