Corvallis is Oregon State University's home — a mid-valley college town with a progressive, outdoors-oriented culture, an active craft beer scene, and a surprisingly rich landscape of wedding venues that spans from the Willamette River to the forested foothills of the Coast Range. The city has a genuine sense of community and intellectual curiosity that attracts couples who want their wedding to feel grounded and real rather than performative.
Marys Peak, the highest point in the Oregon Coast Range, looms to the west and provides a dramatic natural backdrop for venues in the Alsea Valley and Kings Valley corridors. To the east, the Willamette River offers riverfront parks and estate properties with open views across the valley. Philomath and the surrounding farm country to the west add barn venues and pastoral settings that feel genuinely agricultural rather than themed.
Film House Weddings is based in Portland and serves Corvallis and Benton County as part of our Willamette Valley coverage. The mid-valley's layered landscape — river, farmland, forest — gives wedding films a visual depth that we find genuinely exciting to work with.
Why Choose Film House Weddings
Film House Weddings is a luxury wedding cinematography studio founded by Dennis Mulyar, a first-generation Ukrainian American filmmaker with a Bachelor's degree in Film and 15 years of experience across entertainment, beauty, and traditional film festivals. The studio has worked with clients including companies like Nike, Adidas, Snapchat, Paramount+, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Augustinus Bader. Featured in BRIDES magazine and Washington Wedding Day.
Based in Corvallis, our team has filmed hundreds of weddings at venues across the country and beyond. We are not a one-person operation. Film House Weddings is a team of dedicated filmmakers who share the same obsession with cinematic craft, candid emotion, and timeless storytelling. Corvallis Wedding Tips
OSU Home Football Weekends
Oregon State home football games (September through November) fill Corvallis's hotels and restaurants completely. Check the OSU athletic schedule before setting your date, and book a hotel room block for guests immediately once your date is confirmed.
Coast Range Venues Require Planning
The Alsea Valley and Kings Valley corridors west of Corvallis offer spectacular natural settings but require detailed logistics planning — cellular coverage is limited, road access can be narrow, and vendor travel times are longer. Build buffer into your timeline.
Summer Is Corvallis's Quietest Season
With Oregon State out of session, June through August sees lighter traffic and more accommodation availability than the academic year. Peak outdoor wedding weather coincides perfectly with the university's summer break.
Willamette River Sunsets
Riverfront venues in Corvallis benefit from west-facing golden-hour light that illuminates the water and the farmland across the valley. Build your portrait session for the hour before sunset at any riverside location.

Corvallis Wedding Videography FAQ
Do you travel to Corvallis for weddings?
Yes — Corvallis is within our Willamette Valley home market. Film House Weddings is based in Portland and serves Benton County and the mid-valley regularly. Travel fees may apply depending on your venue's location — we will include details in your proposal.
How much does a wedding videographer cost in Corvallis?
Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. We do not publish flat pricing because no two luxury weddings are the same. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your Corvallis wedding.
How far in advance should we book for a Corvallis wedding?
We recommend booking 9 to 18 months in advance for peak summer dates. Corvallis has a smaller vendor market than Portland or Salem, so early booking is especially important.
What is included in a wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
Have you filmed at farm and ranch venues in the Coast Range foothills?
Yes. We have filmed at rural venues throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Coast Range corridor. For venues we have not visited before, we scout light, timing, and access ahead of your wedding day.
Do you offer drone coverage for Corvallis weddings?
Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on. The Willamette Valley farmland and Coast Range foothills are beautiful from above. Drone usage is coordinated ahead of time with your venue and local airspace rules.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
What makes Corvallis a great wedding destination?
Corvallis has a genuine, grounded quality that is rare in wedding markets — a college-town warmth, craft culture, and access to Coast Range farm venues and Willamette River estates that feel authentic rather than manufactured. Couples who find Corvallis usually love it.
