Wedding Videography in Carpinteria

Carpinteria sits at the sheltered eastern end of the Santa Barbara South Coast — a town that bills itself as home to the world's safest beach, and the gently curving bay and calm surf back up that claim. It is a place of avocado orchards descending to the bluffs, beachfront estates along the legendary Padaro Lane, and a small-town character that feels increasingly rare this close to Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.

Padaro Lane is Carpinteria's defining address: a private beachfront road where estate properties sit directly above the sand, with expansive Pacific views and an exclusivity that rivals anything in Malibu. Weddings hosted on Padaro Lane estates feel genuinely removed from the world — just the ocean, the mountains, and the ceremony.

Film House Weddings captures Carpinteria's quiet coastal grandeur. The soft marine light, the avocado-green hills, and the extraordinary beachfront settings create wedding films of exceptional warmth and natural beauty.

Why Choose Film House Weddings

Film House Weddings is a luxury wedding cinematography studio founded by Dennis Mulyar, a first-generation Ukrainian American filmmaker with a Bachelor's degree in Film and 15 years of experience across entertainment, beauty, and traditional film festivals. The studio has worked with clients including companies like Nike, Adidas, Snapchat, Paramount+, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Augustinus Bader. Featured in BRIDES magazine and Washington Wedding Day.

Based in Carpinteria, our team has filmed hundreds of weddings at venues across the country and beyond. We are not a one-person operation. Film House Weddings is a team of dedicated filmmakers who share the same obsession with cinematic craft, candid emotion, and timeless storytelling. Dennis leads the creative vision while his team executes on the ground. The result is a cinematic experience built for couples who understand that their wedding film is not just for them. It is for future generations.

Every detail of our process exists to serve couples who refuse to take a chance when it comes to preserving their most important moments. We work directly with your planner and photographer to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed. Our team arrives early, stays late, and disappears into your day so you can live every moment fully.

Carpinteria Wedding Tips

Padaro Lane Access

Padaro Lane is private. Guest arrival logistics require careful planning — shuttle service from a nearby staging area is the standard approach for large weddings.

Channel Islands Views

On clear days the Channel Islands float on the horizon from Carpinteria's beaches. Late summer and fall offer the clearest visibility for ceremony and portrait backgrounds.

Avocado Season

Spring harvest season fills the air with the scent of avocado blossoms. The orchards are lush and photogenic from February through May.

Rincon Swell Season

Rincon Point is a world-famous surf break. Winter swells can bring dramatic ocean conditions that photograph magnificently as a ceremony backdrop.

Carpinteria Wedding Videography FAQ

How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost in Carpinteria?

Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.

Do you film weddings in Carpinteria?

Yes. Film House Weddings serves Carpinteria, Padaro Lane, Summerland, and the entire Santa Barbara South Coast.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend 9 to 18 months for peak season. Padaro Lane estate dates are extremely limited.

What is included in a wedding film package?

We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.

Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?

Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.

Which Carpinteria venues have you filmed at?

We have filmed throughout the Santa Barbara South Coast and Carpinteria area. If your venue is new to us, we scout it in advance.

Do you offer drone videography?

Yes. Aerial views above Padaro Lane estates and the Carpinteria coastline are spectacular. Drone coverage is available as an add-on, coordinated with local airspace rules.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.

Do you provide raw footage?

Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.

Will you provide a second shooter?

Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
