Luxury Cape Cod Wedding Videographer
Salt air and lighthouse light — cinematic wedding films on Cape Cod and the Islands.

Cape Cod has a particular quality of light that cinematographers talk about in reverent tones. The Atlantic throws it back off the water in a way that makes everything golden by mid-afternoon — clam shacks and sailboats and weathered shingle cottages glowing in the kind of warmth that no filter can replicate. It is a place that feels like summer distilled into geography, and it makes for extraordinary wedding films.
We film throughout the Cape and Islands — from bluff-top ceremonies on Martha's Vineyard to intimate Nantucket harbor receptions to classic Chatham estate weddings that feel ripped from a Ralph Lauren catalogue. Every venue has its own personality, but the through-line is always the ocean. Salt air, the sound of waves behind vows, bonfires on the beach after dark — Cape Cod weddings have a sensory richness that translates powerfully to film.
Our approach here leans into the natural environment. We time our exterior coverage to the light, we build sequences around the rhythm of the tide, and we use the Cape's visual vocabulary — wooden boats, shingled architecture, hydrangeas in every shade of blue — as the visual grammar of your story. The result is a film that looks and feels exactly like being there.

Cape Cod Wedding Tips
Account for ferry logistics on the Islands
Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket require ferry or small aircraft travel for all vendors. We book our crossings well in advance and always have contingency plans. Confirm your vendor travel arrangements months ahead of time to avoid availability conflicts.
Time your ceremony around the tides
Beach ceremonies on the Cape are magical, but low tide gives you far more space and better visual compositions. Check the tide chart for your wedding date when choosing your ceremony time — the difference between low and high can be dramatic.
Build in weather flexibility
Cape Cod weather in shoulder seasons (May and October) can shift quickly. Have an indoor backup plan confirmed and communicated to all vendors. Our team always scouts the venue the morning of the wedding and adapts our coverage plan based on conditions.
Embrace the golden hour
The light on the Cape between 5 and 7 PM in summer is extraordinary. If your venue has water exposure, even fifteen minutes with your photographer and videographer during that window will produce the most beautiful frames of your entire wedding.

Cape Cod Wedding Videography FAQ
Do you film weddings on Cape Cod and the Islands?
Yes. We film throughout Cape Cod including Chatham, Harwich Port, Falmouth, Provincetown, and Brewster, as well as destination weddings on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Island weddings require early vendor booking due to ferry logistics.
Do you travel to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket?
Yes. We film destination weddings on both islands regularly. We coordinate all travel and logistics — ferry reservations, equipment transport, and accommodations — as part of our pre-wedding planning process. Island weddings should be booked as early as possible due to limited availability.
What Cape Cod venues do you recommend for film?
The Wychmere Beach Club, Chatham Bars Inn, and Ocean Edge Resort all photograph exceptionally well. For intimate weddings, the Red Inn in Provincetown and Nantucket Hotel offer unique character and beautiful light. We recommend venues with ocean or water proximity whenever possible.
What is included in a Cape Cod wedding film package?
We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.
Do you work with Cape Cod wedding planners?
Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.
What is the best time of year for a Cape Cod wedding?
Summer (June through August) is peak season with reliable weather and long golden hours. September and early October offer equally beautiful light with fewer crowds and often better pricing. Spring weddings can be stunning but require weather contingency planning.
Can you film a beach ceremony on the Cape?
Yes. We film beach ceremonies throughout the Cape. We time our coverage around the tide and light conditions and always have equipment protected against salt air. For National Seashore locations, permits may be required — we assist with that coordination.
Do you offer drone coverage on the Cape?
Drone coverage is available for Cape Cod weddings and adds a spectacular perspective on the coastline. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard have specific airspace restrictions near their airports that we coordinate in advance. FAA compliance is built into our standard process.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.
Do you provide raw footage?
Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.
