Wedding Videography in Bandon

Bandon is where the Oregon Coast reaches its most dramatic and otherworldly peak. The sea stacks at Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint rise from the surf like silent sentinels, and Coquille Point offers panoramic views of offshore rock formations that rival anything in coastal California or Scotland. Add Bandon Dunes Golf Resort — one of the top golf destinations in the world — and you have a location that attracts discerning travelers from every continent.

Old Town Bandon retains a fishing-village authenticity that larger coastal towns have lost, with cranberry bogs spreading across the headlands, small galleries lining the harbor, and a community pace that feels genuinely unhurried. For couples who want destination-wedding drama without the crowds or the distance, Bandon delivers something exceptional.

Film House Weddings travels to the South Oregon Coast from our Portland base for weddings that call for it. Bandon is the kind of location that makes every cinematographer want to work harder — the light on the sea stacks at golden hour, the mist rolling in from the Pacific, the moss-covered headlands framing the ceremony site. We do not treat Bandon like a location we visit. We treat it like a landscape we want to do justice.

Why Choose Film House Weddings

Film House Weddings is a luxury wedding cinematography studio founded by Dennis Mulyar, a first-generation Ukrainian American filmmaker with a Bachelor's degree in Film and 15 years of experience across entertainment, beauty, and traditional film festivals. The studio has worked with clients including companies like Nike, Adidas, Snapchat, Paramount+, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Augustinus Bader. Featured in BRIDES magazine and Washington Wedding Day.

Based in Bandon, our team has filmed hundreds of weddings at venues across the country and beyond. We are not a one-person operation. Film House Weddings is a team of dedicated filmmakers who share the same obsession with cinematic craft, candid emotion, and timeless storytelling. Dennis leads the creative vision while his team executes on the ground. The result is a cinematic experience built for couples who understand that their wedding film is not just for them. It is for future generations.

Every detail of our process exists to serve couples who refuse to take a chance when it comes to preserving their most important moments. We work directly with your planner and photographer to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed. Our team arrives early, stays late, and disappears into your day so you can live every moment fully.

Bandon Wedding Tips

Bandon Dunes Vendor Policy

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort has a preferred vendor list and specific policies for outside vendors. Confirm vendor approval status with their events team at least ninety days before your wedding to avoid day-of complications.

Sea Stack Light Window

The sea stacks at Face Rock and Coquille Point catch the best light in the ninety minutes before sunset when the sun angles directly from the west. This is your golden window for portraits — everything before this hour is beautiful but nothing matches that last light.

Bandon is a Destination

Bandon is 4.5 hours from Portland and 30 minutes from the North Bend/Coos Bay airport. Plan arrival and departure carefully, and book guest accommodations at Bandon Dunes and the Inn at Face Rock months in advance.

Wind and Ceremony Timing

The Coos County coast can be intensely windy, especially in the afternoon. Schedule outdoor ceremonies for late morning and move portraits to the golden-hour window. Midday wind often calms by late afternoon as the land cools.

Bandon Wedding Videography FAQ

How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost in Bandon?

Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day — we do not publish flat pricing because no two luxury weddings are the same. Pricing scales with coverage hours, team size, deliverables, and travel. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.

Do you travel to Bandon and the South Oregon Coast?

Yes. Film House Weddings travels to Bandon and the South Oregon Coast for weddings that call for it. A travel fee applies for this distance — we include all travel costs transparently in your proposal.

How far in advance should we book our Bandon wedding videographer?

We recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance for Bandon Dunes Resort weddings and peak summer dates. Bandon attracts destination wedding couples from across the country and the best vendors book early.

What is included in a wedding film package?

We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.

Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?

Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.

What makes Bandon exceptional for a wedding film?

The sea stacks at Face Rock and the cliffside settings at Bandon Dunes are among the most cinematically powerful locations on the entire Oregon Coast. The combination of ancient geology, vast Pacific horizon, and world-class resort hospitality creates wedding films that look like they were shot on a Hollywood set.

Do you offer drone coverage for Bandon weddings?

Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on and the Bandon coastline is one of the most dramatic drone filming locations in the Pacific Northwest. We coordinate all airspace approvals and venue permissions well ahead of your wedding day.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner — let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.

Do you provide raw footage?

Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it — our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.

What is the best time of year to get married in Bandon?

July through September is peak season for the South Oregon Coast with the best weather odds. Bandon's cranberry harvest in October provides a uniquely beautiful backdrop for fall weddings with a sense of place and season that is hard to replicate elsewhere.
