We absolutely loved filming Renee and Jeremy’s wedding at Fern Acres in Forks, WA.  

Coming from the Cayman Islands, Renee and Jeremy’s destination micro wedding was all about their closest family members and them.  The goal of the day was to celebrate and spend some secluded, quality time with those closest to them.  

From the moment we stepped into Fern Acres, it felt like we were transported into the Enchanted Forest. We were so excited to find out that the whole day was going to be spent there.  Renee got ready in a shabby chic, cottage vibe suite that set the aesthetic for the whole day.  Between her dress, veil, and pearl chain headpiece, she looked like a princess.  

Renee looked so glee-ridden when she walked up to Jeremy for their first look.  The moment he turned around, he was stunned, speechless.  He couldn’t believe that she was marrying him.  For the creative session, they brought this black vintage car and white piano.  It looked so magical in the middle of the forest; what a vibe!  We love that they took some time to create a slow dancing moment, just the two of them.  They got lost in their little world for a moment; so sweet and special. We could just tell by the way that Renee and Jeremy interacted with each other and spoke about each other that they have a real, true, mature love.  

They had this beautifully lush white and green circular floral arch at the center of the altar.  It was the perfect focal point for their fairytale wedding.  Tears filled everyone’s eyes as Renee and Jeremy exchanged their vows.  As they walked back down the aisle, everyone celebrated by showering them with white flower petals.    

After the ceremony, we took them to the lake for some sunset footage. They decked out this little canoe and the results were amazing! The canoe, the lake, and the mountainous background made for some whimsical moments.

Their dinner reception was situated under a eucalyptus-covered arbor with a eucalyptus garland table runner.  We love how they just wanted to have a celebratory dinner with their family.  They didn’t do any speeches or performances, just laughs, food, and personalized Coke bottles.  It was such a simple, low-key, and chill way to end such a magical day.
