Perfect Wedding Morning Playlist… From The Professionals
The day has finally come, the coffee has been drunk, the mimosas are being poured, and your girl gang has assembled but you don’t have a playlist! Don’t worry about it, we’ve got you covered!
As professional wedding photographers and videographers who have been in the business for over a decade, we’ve seen every bridal morning you can think of. From tunes blaring to dead silence and everything in between, we have seen it all. We know that we are more than “just” photographers and videographers; we are there for hype management, emotional support, and the good ol’ fire extinguisher. We're here to help you out, not only with the songs themselves but also with the why behind them.
Music has the ability to change everything. Music can do everything from getting in your feels to boosting your energy. On the morning of your wedding, you should feel nothing but relaxed, joyous, and anticipatory. Our friend, Cara, over at Queue Tips has created the perfect playlist for the morning of your wedding. As everyone will still be waking up, we start out slow, and as the hours of hair and makeup roll on, so does the tempo. By the end of the playlist, you will be pumped and raring to go on your big day!

Whether you want to start from the beginning of the playlist or halfway through, we just wanted to give you all a list of great wedding morning songs anyone could listen to! Not only does music help to boost moods but it can also help to ease some nerves being in front of the camera. We completely understand that some people are camera shy especially when you have both photographers and videographers capturing everything but we hope that we disappear into the background. One of the best ways to do that is to get lost in the music. Whether you are singing and dancing to some Katy Perry with your bridesmaids or just tapping your foot as you get your hair and makeup done, music can ease everyone’s nerves.
Along with easing you into the subject of the camera, music also helps to energize you. There is a good chance that as it is your wedding day, you did not get an adequate amount of sleep. Between chatting with your girls, tossing and turning from excitement, and finishing some last-minute details, the night before can be very tiresome. With coffee in hand, it can help give you the energy that you need to prepare for the big day.
There are so many things to do in prep for your day but now you have one less thing to think about! We hope this playlist helps to energize, ease you in front of the camera, and set the tone for the day.
